EASTER VIGIL

ಪಾಸ್ಕಾಂಚ್ಯಾ ರಾತಿಚೊ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ್‌ ಎಪ್ರಿಲ್‌ 19 ತಾರಿಕೆರ್‌ ಸಾಂಜೆರ್‌ 07.00 ವೊರಾಂಚೆರ್‌ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭ್‌ ಕೆಲೊ. ಫಿರ್ಗಜ್‌ ವಿಗಾರ್‌ ಮಾ|ಬಾ| ಮಾರ್ಸೆಲ್‌ ಸಲ್ಡಾನಾನ್‌ ಉಜೊ ಬೆಂಜಾರ್‌ ಕರ್ನ್‌, ಪಾಸ್ಕಾಚಿ ವಾತ್‌ ಜಳವ್ನ್‌ ಪುರ್ಶಾಂವಾರ್‌ ವೆಲಿ. ಉಪ್ರಾಂತ್‌ ಉದಕ್‌ ಪವಿತ್ರ್‌ ಕರ್ನ್‌ ಹಾಜರ್‌ ಆಸ್‌ಲ್ಲ್ಯಾಂಚೆರ್‌ ಶಿಂಪ್ಡಾಯ್ಲೆಂ. ಪಾಂಚ್‌ ವಾಚ್ಪಾಂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೆಲ್‌ ಆನಿ ಮನ್ಶಾಕುಳಾಚ್ಯಾ ಸಾಲ್ವಾಸಾಂವಾಚಿ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಚೊ ಉಗ್ಡಾಸ್‌ ಹಾಡ್ಲಿಂ. ಸುವಾರ್ತಾ ಪರ್ಗಾಟ್ತಾನಾ ಜಿವಂತ್‌ ಜೆಜುಚಿ ಇಮಾಜ್‌ ಪರ್ಗಟ್‌ ಕೆಲಿ. ಜೆಪ್ಪು ಸೆಮಿನರಿಚೆ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕ್‌ ಮಾ|ಬಾ| ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್‌ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಪ್ರಧಾನ್‌ ಯಾಜಕ್‌ ಜಾವ್ನ್‌ ಮಿಸಾಚೆಂ ಬಲಿದಾನ್‌ ಭೆಟಯ್ಲೆಂ. ಫಿರ್ಗಜ್‌ ವಿಗಾರ್‌ ಮಾ|ಬಾ| ಮಾರ್ಸೆಲ್‌ ಸಲ್ಡಾನಾ ಹಾಣಿಂ ಸಹಭೆಟವ್ಣಿ ಕೆಲಿ.

The celebration of Easter vigil started at 7.00pm on 19th April 2025. Fr Marcel Sladhana, PP lit the Easter Candle from the "New Fire '' and carried it to the Altar in a procession. Water was blessed and the Holy water was then sprinkled on all those present. Five readings from the Sacred Scriptures gave a glimpse of the salvation story of Israel and mankind in general. As Gloria resounded in the air the image of Risen Jesus was unveiled.The main celebrant was Fr Francis D'Souza, Prof. of Jeppu Seminary. Fr Marcel Sladhana, PP was the co-celebrant.
