Nativity of Mother Mary, popularly known as Monthi Fest was celebrated with great devotion on Tuesday, 8 September 2026. The service of the blessing of the paddy and offering flowers to Mother Mary was conducted in front of Grotto where all parishioners gathered. Fr. Marcel Saldanha, Parish Priest conducted the prayer service and blessed the new paddy. Thereafter, the devotees offered flowers with the hymn, “Moriyek Hogolshiyam…”. The Solemn festive mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Vincent D'Souza and co celebrated by Fr. Alban D'Souza with Rev. Fr. Marcel Saldanha.  Fr. Alban D'Souzagave an insightful and meaningful sermon. The liturgy of the festive mass was animated by the sodality girls.
