Nativity of Mother Mary, popularly known as Monthi Fest was celebrated with great devotion on Sunday, 8 September 2024. The service of the blessing of the paddy and offering flowers to Mother Mary was conducted in front of Grotto where Ward Gurkars gathered along with parishioners. Fr. Marcel Saldanha, Parish Priest conducted the prayer service and blessed the new paddy. Thereafter, the devotees offered flowers with the hymn, “Moriyek Hogolshiyam…”. The Solemn festive mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Valerian Lobo and Rev. Fr. Marcel Saldanha.
Miss.Jenisha Cutinha was congratulated for winning 2 medals in Shaurya Karate competition held in Mangalore. Prizes were distributed to the bible quiz winners. The members of the PPC distributed the new paddy sheaves to the parishioner. The liturgy of the festive mass was animated by the sodality girls.
